Born in Brive-La-Gaillarde, in 1933, Jean-Baptiste Valadié is a painter, sculptor, printmaker, draftsman, lithographer and illustrator. He made his first Parisian artistic steps in Charpentier’s lessons, in Montparnasse. Then, for four years, he studied the Applied Arts (graduated in 1955), while it undertakes, moreover, his drawing skills around the Place du Tertre. Traveler, it is in 1956 he signed his first exhibition in Dakar (Senegal). In 1960, during his military service, he exhibited at Algiers. There followed numerous exhibitions in France (Paris, Cannes, Lyon …) and in the world: South Africa, England, Australia, USA, Japan, Switzerland, Belgium, China …
